Raffaele is a Triathlon Coach and Sport Performance Developer with over a decade of hands-on coaching experience across Europe, Kuwait and the UAE. His approach is rooted in an unusual foundation — several years of active service as an operator with the Italian Navy's San Marco Reconnaissance Marines, including deployments in Iraq (2010) and Afghanistan (2011) — which forged the two principles that still define his coaching: obsessive attention to preparation, and the ability to build athletes who perform under pressure.
His methodology is science-based and anatomy-first, treating every athlete as a three-dimensional biomechanical system — building from posture, joint stability and neuromuscular control toward sport-specific endurance and race performance. In his method, Strength & Conditioning is not an accessory to endurance training but the foundation on which durable, injury-resistant triathletes are built.
He works best with two profiles: youth athletes (8–18 years old) inside a structured Long-Term Athlete Development pathway, and adult age-group triathletes chasing race-specific performance targets. For the young he brings a developmental lens — motor-learning windows, growth-plate awareness and movement quality; for adults, physiology-driven periodisation, performance assessment and a rehab and pre-hab pathway that keeps them on the start line.
Drawing on his background as a Motivational and Life Coach, he treats mindset, discipline and daily process as measurable qualities — because in endurance sport, and especially at youth level, character is built long before the finish line.
"You don't rise to the level of your goals — you fall to the level of your preparation. My job is to prepare the athlete, the body and the mind."
